ok, so i bought the vga2 adapter that OXM said was aswome, and i used it today and its fucking kick ass, but i need some help.
all i have all my computer speakers (i have absolutely no room for new speakers) and they hook up to a outlet via the headphone jack found on, well, headphones. but the vga adapter only supports RCA audio hook ups, meaning i need to find some kind of way to hook my computer speakers up to my vga adapter by having some sort of converter with a headphone in jack at one end and 2 rca jacks at the other end?
or can ne one think of a better solution?

try looking here

theres plenty of adapters there, and with some creativity you should be able to get things connected.

yeah headphones are 1/8
but that's just mono, so you'll only get the signal on the left (i think left, that's been my experience) speaker, and you wont have the other channel of audio at all depending on which way you choose to plug it in
