A couple of months ago, my Xbox just stopped working while I was watching a DVD. It's a 1.0 xbox with a Matrix chip in it...
I would push the power button, the fan on the GPU would spin once or twice and stop, and the larger fan behind the CPU would turn around about a quarter of a turn.
Putting it down to a PSU problem, I ordered a new PSU, and once that was installed it was all fine.
Now, the same thing has happened again. I replaced the fuse with an exact copy of what was originally in there, and still the same. A couple of days ago it started up no problems, but then it died all of a sudden.
What could be causing this?
I don't mind having to buy another PSU, but I would like to know what is causing this, so I don't have to keep replacing new power supplies.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks
