Hi aaron1974,

you are using the older version of neXgen. We didn't work on that neXgen project we have taken on the W-I-P sources that were released and have been finishing off that project. The release we are working on will allow many menu's / Submenu's to be created as it's alot more powerful than the previous release. So my advice would be either wait for the new neXgen or use another dash of choice untill we release the new neXgen dash.

AFAIK: the old neXgen didn't allow adding of more items in the Emu / Games / Apps section only on the main title screen is where u could customize but I could well be wrong.

yeah, its a bit picky. I managed to get it to work for my multiinstaller. Try swapping around the entries a bit and take care for the "/" at the end of the line:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<menu>
<ftp inhibit="0" user="xbox" pass="xbox"/>
<http inhibit="0" user="xbox" pass="xbox"/>
<section name="Games">
<search path1="F:HDDLoader" path2="E:HDDLoader"/>
</section>

<section name="Applications">
<search path1="F:Apps" path2="F:AppsDashes"/>
</section>

<ITEM TEXT="XBMP" ACTION="Launch_Custom" PARAM="f:appsmediaplayerxbmpdefault.xbe"/>
<ITEM TEXT="MAMEoX" ACTION="Launch_Custom" PARAM="f:appsemulatorsmameoxdefault.xbe"/>
<ITEM TEXT="M$Dash" ACTION="Launch_Custom" PARAM="c:xboxdash.xbe"/>

<section name="Emulators">
<search path1="F:AppsEmulators"/>
</section>

<section name="Mediaplayer">
<search path1="F:AppsMediaplayer"/>
</section>

<section name="Dashboards">
<search path1="F:AppsDashes"/>
</section>
</menu>

deleting 1 of the ITEM - parts will end in only showing up 2 sections..picky but my default dashboard now smile.gif

nexgen, the one you are using, will also alot of the time corrupt XBE files when transfered through there FTP, it was buggy, so dont trust the nexgen FTP, although i have heard it is fixed on the new release comming out... we shall wait and see
