I had the font hack installed and the power has gone out on me twice already and my box got looped, so I am thinking of doing the audio hack. Are there any downsides to using the audio hack? Does it boot up to evox the same way (I've read about needing an audio CD or something)

Also, I am assuming that you can just use HDD_Driver to transfer the save game hacks, correct?

Thanks

There are two hacks - one where when you go to copy a CD, and one while you copy a track already on the hard drive (No CD required).

The only problem with the audio hack is that you can't use ingame soundtrack features anymore (Corrupts the database).

Compared to the font hack its much safer though. Make sure you get the right hack as the original audio hack has some security to only boot linux (What a fag hacker eh?).

And for me the audio hack takes a lot longer to run PBL after you have finished pressing all the buttons up to 10 seconds some times the font one just goes straight away

But overall, the audio i find to be a much more appealing hack. The clock loop is just rediculous, especially for people like me who bring their box to different places constantly.

And it truly does get to the point that you can do the button combo to activate it without even thinking about it. I have my box booted into evox before my TV has warmed up!

Morden.
