i searched the tutorial page and couldnt find a simple guide to just replacing the original HDD. (i dont want external or swiches or any of that crap) could someone please link me to a good tutorial. thanks

Also, are there any HDD's that WON'T work in an Xbox? Are Maxtor 120's all good?

for ne one interested in getting a new hdd, get it from modchipman.com, he sells 120 and 80 giggers (segate 7200 rpm, i have the 120 giger) and they work perfectly. also they already come with the xbox dash and folders on it, so all u need to do is install evox like u would on any other drive and ur all set, no needing to install it on the original hdd, ftp thw contents of that onto ur comp etc.
just giving advice to ne one thinking of getting a new hdd soon
