Akira -boot Problems

i got my Akira chip today, i have an box made 2003-07-24, point 2 was grouned so i guess it's an v1.4 solder all points.

all solder points looks right, i tested them. and it boot with the chip turned off with no problems.

but when i turn the chip on i get 2 rebbots then the screen is black, does ny one have any tips what i can do more ?

Is the chip flashed with EvoX M7? That's the only BIOS (except Cromwell 2.27beta) that will boot on a 1.4 or 1.5.

yes, on the seller homepage it is said it's preflashed with M7 bios ,

problem solved, it was bad soldering smile.gif

there where some dry joint's on the LPC, i just re-solder the points, some just heated smile.gif and it works fine

hmm i can never get the headerpins to work wit any chip i use to do my installs
but then i solder wires onto the header pin since i need to finsh it on time

and they work so any ideas on why i cant use headerpins?

ps

im gona buy a batch of them and i dont want to solder the headerpins and not having them work

either im doing something wrong or what

ive even done it wit x2 pro and so on

and hold on before i buy a batch of them

the fetures it had was
1mb bios so how would i make a multi-bios switcher?

and wtf why is evox m7 flashed on the akira

@Potato Bob: they use m7-bios so the chip works on all xboxes (v1.0-1.5)

o well it seems that akira is a good chips after all for the price they gave me
of ten of them smile.gif

My friend has mentioned these akira chips and the apple chip. I don't know much about either, and there isn't much info that I know of. anybody got a good source for me to research?

yea i recommend that anyone buys these chips. ive been running it on my x-box for a bit now and its the best chip i have ever used.

{fusion} like potato bob said is there a way to make a multi bios switch?
