Every freggin newer game has a blue 'x' in the corner that says xboxlive, and the options for every game has a live tab!

better delete those uneeded .xbe's of my little nephews HDD! Just playing system link against him in Rainbow six 3, he toasted an EEPROM! Good thing I have a few for sale, and had to 'buy' one myself. wink.gif

Same here, I mean the X-ecuter has a external disable switch but still. I unplug the network cable just to be safe.

Hi,

I'm worried about the same problem. But how do you guys transfer games to your xbox or don't you? (you have to have your cable plugged in for that)
So I was thinking off instead unplugging the cable, blocking the remote IP's/DNS names of the XBOX LIVE login servers (in my router, that is). Does anyone know these. And is this a good/safe method?

Why would you need to turn it off while loading backups to your hd?
