Why cant I use my MS sidewinder joystick with my MS XBOX?! I have an xbox->female usb adapter, but the xbox drivers dont respond to anything the joystick does. Any ideas?

simple, it's not an xbox made controller
you'll have to buy an actual xbox controller that's a joystick

I hear what your saying Psilocybe but is it possible to get it working. I don't want to go out and buy new controllers for just the xbox. I have a sidewinder joystick and wheel as well with a usb cable I made, I even have the PSO usb keyboard adapter, but I only get the force light to come on when I hook it up. Maybe a setup similar to the IGR in evox which overides the button commands. If we could get this to work I am sure alot of people would use it. How cool would it be to say if you have the usb adapter you can use these controllers and even enable and disable the controllers in evox?
