hi guys,

i was a beta tester last year with a mod chip installed....now we can all guess went happened once xbox live went live last year....yep, got banned...

at the time, i didn't care much because we were moving and were having a baby...now a year has almost passed by and i want to get back on line.

i have had two people give me two different ways to do this and i wanted to get anyone elses input and suggestions.

1st approach - the person says they will remove my 29 wire xtender clone and put in a matrix 2 chip and a new eeprom

2nd approach - the person says they will flash my tsop, put in a switch and a new eeprom.

now which one of those two would you guys recommend, or is there a another approach i should look at?

thanks

Without hesitation I would go with whats behind door number 1. Don't flash your tsop. Its dangerous and there are better ways, aka modchips.

I disagree, if the box is that old, the more economical way would be the TSOP flash. You will NOT notice a difference in perfomance. Just make sure the guy knows what he is doing.

M$ gave you a modchip, use it

woudl that work?
