I was wondering the same thing...I wonder if you can just burn it to a cd-rw. I got my xbox to read burnt songs of a cd-rw, how would evox be different?

You can burn Evox to a CD-RW. Do a search around and you'll find information on how to do it.

Okay...didn't make myself clear before.

I have tutorials on Evox. They indicate that for the xbox to read the disc that Evox is burned on, it must be a DVD-R.

So, I'm wondering if the tutorials are outdated due to DVD+R's recent introduction to consumers.

If I burn it on a DVD+R, will the xbox install the dash or not?

Thanks

it doesn't matter what media you put it on. the media has to be compatible with your dvd drive. if you have a thomson and phillips then use cd-rw or dvd. i have found that most + and - are compatible. i use + with no problems. if you have a samsung drive then you can use anything including cd-r.
