Does anyone have a modded SD-616T that works 100%? Does it eject properly with the Xbox eject button?

If you do have a 100% working modded Sd-616T, did you have to do anything special to get the eject working properly? Flip the motor, flip the In/Out lines - what is the proper procedure to get this working?

Please please please HELP!

Thank you for the reply. Actually I did follow the tutorials on the main site weeks ago. And this is where I am at now. I just would like these questions answered. They are questions that canot be answered by re-reading the tutoritals.

then you did something wrong. i followed them and my drive ejects like it should

Thanks for the input. I have followed the tutorial on the main board, as I have said. Maybe I did do something wrong, although I cannot for the life of me figure out what it would be. As I have said in another thread, I believed the motor driver IC was fried on my 616T, so this weekend I obtained another one and I swapped in the new chip. The tray ejected ONCE. After that first time, it no longer will eject automatically. I believe I must have somehow fried the 2nd IC as well.

Oh well... Practice makes perfect, I suppose.

I've modded over 200 of these and I will tell you that there are some tutorials that have the tray functions cross wired and will not work properly. If you are a noob stumbling into this the first time good luck.

Can you set me straight? The tray in/tray out lines are on the two middle pins on the top row of the connector. If we are looking at the female end of the yellow cable connector that plugs into the drive ...

3 and 4 are the IN/OUT lines. Which is which?

P.S. 10 is Ready and 11 is Eject, right?
