I like Memorex for PS2 and Princo white top dvdr for xbox. Memorex discs run me about $2.50 disc and Princo are less than $1 disc. I haven't had any problems with either. I want to try Verbatim but I can't find them cheaper than $3 a disc. Can someone point me in the right direction? I usually use nextag.com or bizrate.com to find the best price for Memorex and Princo.

I have Sony dru500a, and I use cheap Optodiscs and they work great on just about eveything except for the XBOX ofcourse but thats a different thread. You can get 50 paks here for $50 + $6.00 s/h. http://www.newegg.co...rtby=14&order=1

I went on the recommendation of another poster at this forum and started buying DVD-R "v2.0" discs. They apparently are quite compatible with the Xbox and cost about .20-.40 cents more than some of the cheapest brands. Every v2.0 DVD-R disc I've burned has worked perfectly in my Xbox so far.

Meritline-brand v2.0 media

Samsung v2.0 media $77 for 50, no shipping fee

Also, as has been said many times before on this forum, if you are downloading ISOs off the internet, its a good practice to extract the ISOs using XDSFextractor, then burning the game as a data-mode DVD in Recordnow Max. Many ISOs found online still use an older version of XISO, which makes screwed up ISOs that don't burn properly.

I've started using the Bulkpaq 2x Gen 4 disks. They are the best yet that i've tried and for 1 a piece in the uk are pretty good value.
