I wanted to try the HDTV mod to make a true vga output for my Xbox that is exclusively running Linux Debian(w/ cromwell 2.27). I have a Monster brand HD cable setup that works with fine with my other xbox when playing games, but the picture looks horrible when I hook up the Linux xbox. It only runs at 480i resolution. Do I need to run the pixel 8 bios with Linux, or do anything else? Will I get good resolution with the HDTV pack mod? My monitor does support sync on green by the way. jester.gif

I don't think it works in HDTV modes, but you CAN use the Hi-Def cables to use it.

How can I get a resolution of 1028X768(what I think is the maximum from an Xbox) from using Linux then? Will the hd tutorial work then? huh.gif
