I am really new at this so please be gentle.

I have read all the tutorials but cant find my problem. I have EvoX installed and i have a crossover cable, and have connected it to my Xbox. I have installed FlashFXP and taken all my settings from the Xbox (IP: (Type Static) (Ues static IP Yes)(Subnet gate i have then entered these into the properties of the NIC and the TCP/IP binding, but when i try to connect to my Xbox it says Connection refused. Please help as i am starting to lose the will to live. I have been told that there are other files that i need to edit is this also true and which and how do i do this, if there is already a tutorial on this just point me in the right direction and i will give it a go.
