I've searched through the forums and the internet for an answer but no joy so far so hope somebody knows an answer to this problem.

I have a Hitachi 42" plasma display, supports 480 through 1080 lines both progressive and interpolated. I have just bought a High definition pack and inputting to display via component cables but problem is there are no options to change supported modes in MS Dash. I believe from reading about that the HD pack for PAL outputs by default at 480i.

The UK instructions with the HDTV pack (made by Radica/Gamester) suggest I should be able to switch modes in the MS dash PAL or NTSC....

I am in UK, so video mode is set to PAL at moment ..... I have read somewhere that the PAL mode is restricted to 480 lines in PAL .. are there any hacked BIOS's that allow mode selects in PAL ?

I have used Enigmah switch disk to change to NTSC and enabled modes in MS Dash then but picture output is worse than with PAL (even though the display is supposed to support NTSC too).

I am using Executer2 Lite, 4977 BIOS and 3921 EVOX dash.

Any help appreciated.
