I just rented it..
It has to be the SHORTEST game I have ever played...

I picked the 1st character, went thru story mode (NO STORY AT ALL !) and FINISHED THE GAME 1ST TIME PLAYING in about 20 minutes...

Georgeous characters models / backgrounds but rather disappointing overall.

Hey man. Tried it out about an hour ago. Got from the usual place. Was a ripped version but appartently the only thing ripped was a bunch of demos. I think it was 10 or 11 .rar files. Not a large game. Great graphics but I think that's the only positive thing about it. But hey, if you can get it for free, go for it. Fighting games are always fun with a couple of friends and some beers:) Besides every game pales in comparison to Splinter Cell now so I might be a bit biased. Waiting for the new Bond game to complete now, that one looks like it could be fun.

I think this game is pretty good as i love doa3 and so far this fighting game is the next best thing as i have not downloaded mortal combat yet as the rip is not complete on easynews, only problem is that this game is too easy, started game picked the default story mode pick some bimbo fighter and kicked arse jester.gif

How worse the game can be, I don't think it can be worser then X-Men Next Dimension, because that one sucks so badly, that you even doesn't want put your xbox on for that game. smile.gif

the game wasn't all that bad, but it has nothing on MKDA, can't even compare the two!! wink.gif
besides what other games are there out there in this genre that are actually good besides MKDA and DOA3, UHH? NONE!!

for MSs first fighting game i think it was kool, but not the best of the bunch of course!! wink.gif

Holy shit that crap marvel vs capcom to 2d shit and i regret downing that shit and from the screen shots that i have seen of mortal combat bloody hell 2d shit.

i will try mk if i can get the cd rip as i do not want to download the dvd version and find out that this version is 2d as i have played mortal combat on the pc and amiga and i think this game is crap compared to doa3 as i still think doa3 is the best fighting game on any platform so far jester.gif

what are you even talking about?

doa3 is good, but not even close to being the best.
totally unbalanced...
the only thing going for it that sets it apart is its graphics.

soul calibur destroys any fighting game even out.

marvel capcom 2 is a good game. just because 3d is now the norm, or what marketing whores deliver to consumers, doesn't mean 2d games are any less good. sorry you don't like it but i'll bet for every person that hates it there are about 6 billion people that do.
