Madden 2006

TitleID: 45410075
Before: 3.2gb
After: 2.7gb

/BURNOUT/
/DATA/MOVIETUT1-4.DAT(4 FILES)

Remember, those are the tutorial movies so don't try to access them in the options menu and always say no when the game prompts you to watch them.

NCAA 2006

TitleID: 45410080
Before: 3.5gb
After: 2.8gb

/MMNCDEMO/
/DATA/DEFENSE.DAT
IMPACT.DAT
OFFENSE.DAT
OPTIONS.DAT

Again, these are the tutorial movies so don't try to access them.

P.S. I'll get Outlaw Tennis up tonight,
for now I don't think you can remove
anything from Darkwatch(?).

Keep the Xbox File Ripping Information-main page updated!

It's easier to find info of a game that I want if it's orgarnised rather than having to search over 90+ pages of posts to find it.

this thread is just until baluga gets it on www.balugabutt.com and its all orgamized..
this thread has worked for over a year and i see no need to change anything.

change your board settings to display more threads/posts at once and it will only be 29 pages :-)

Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike

I have run the game after this. I have not fully tested it. Use at your own risk:

Delete video files with _i, _g, _f, _s on the end of them. The one without the _ is the main movie and the others are other languages. Saved a lot of room. Game is still playable at this point.

Games with _25fps and _30fps versions of movie files. 25fps is Pal. 30fps is NTSC. Keep the one you want. Delete the other type. Play the game and enjoy significant savings.

(Area 51 for example has movies ending in _25 and _30. I deleted all the _25 and kept the _30.)

YA, I know I'm not providing you the paths. I didn't have time to write them down. I needed the space asap. I am however giving you a hint on where to look to take credit for finding it yourself.

I was unable to find anything worth dinking with on Darkwatch. Ya you could save 2 or 3 megabytes.

hey i found by using the blank xmv's from balegubutt's site [sp] and replacing them in burnout4 i saved like 700 mb...idk if thats a viable opinion for all...

if the game freezes on you in evoz, erase your cache or use xbmc

I did NOT write these instructions, I found them on the internet, and verified it does work

CODE
Here is how to make the DVD9 Version of Ninja Gaiden: Black fit
on a dvd5
to save pointless extra downloading.
First, get Qwix (PC xbox iso application) from the usual xbox
software
sources. Extract all the Files from the iso to a directory.
Go into the movie folder, and locate the following files:

pre_movie5_j.sfd
pre_movie8_j.sfd
pre_movie10_j.sfd
pre_movie11_j.sfd
pre_movie13_j.sfd
pre_movie14_j.sfd

These are the Japanese movie files. Delete them, and also delete
doa4.sfd (the dead or alive 4 trailer movie)

That done, now copy the US versions like so:

pre_movie5.sfd to pre_movie5_j.sfd
pre_movie8.sfd to pre_movie8_j.sfd
pre_movie10.sfd to pre_movie10_j.sfd
pre_movie11.sfd to pre_movie11_j.sfd
pre_movie13.sfd to pre_movie13_j.sfd
pre_movie14.sfd to pre_movie14_j.sfd

I also copied d_aruma.sfd to doa4.sfd (I have no idea what this
movie is,
but hell, just download dead or alive 4 too and save the movie
watching for dvdrs :P)

so you are left with 2 versions of the identical US movie files,
with
different filenames.

At this moment you might be thinking HEY! that didnt make it
smaller! but this is
where the magic of crosslinking files comes in. Qwix has the
ability to
discover identical files and include only one copy, but
reference it twice in the ISO.

So all you need to do now, is go back into Qwix, and create an
ISO from the directory you just extracted all the files too.
Be sure to check the box for CrossLinking!
You should find the ISO created comes to just under 4.7 gig and
burns fine to a dvdr.

Good luck and happy Ninjaing, and thanks to Tecmo and ProjectX,
two groups of people
probably not used to being thanked simultaneously :D

Hope that helps
