I used to run videos directly off of cd-r's and dvd+rw's with no problem. But today I tried burning some videos onto a dvd-r (Memorex) and whenever I put the dvd in the drive it causes XBMP to freeze. I tried burning them onto cd and the first video works, but when I try and run the second one it goes to a black screen then freezes. Is there any reason why this would be happening? Everything else seems to be working ok, I think at least. If it matters, I'm running a modded Samsung PC drive, but have been for quite some time with no troubles.

update... I put an audio cdr in the drive and it played fine through the MS dashboard, but when I ran XBMP it instantly froze at the main screen.

Maybe your problem from DVD Samsung PC. I think there is different firmware or different s/n DVD Samsung when you plug in into your xbox console.
Should be happen with xbox games, but this with movie. I don't have a good answer for this. sad.gif
