found Snorkleboy's post from before too, http://forums.xbox-s...20682&hl=chrome
Some wicked looking stuff, with explanations of the process used. Not too sure if any of our hot rod shops etc do chroming stated like that tho.
Also among the great searches i came up with was an online shop http://www.alsacorp....irrachrome.html -with a spray on chrome, think thats madd- check out their SpectraFX range of chameleon spray on paint!
-when i first thought of modding/painting my xbox, chameleon was the first thing that came to mind, but chrome skin was much more affordable.

|i was just about to order the chrome paint... when i saw the $125 price tag for 8 ounches|
vaccum was is the best probably. Don't go paint. No such thing as a chrome paint. Chrome is not paint its probably like a silver-chrome lookalike

try looking for a local machine shop that does powder coating. you should be able to find a better price and wont have to ship your case anywhere.

There is such thing as chrome paint.. and Im not talking about the silver shit at walmart or anything.. in fact I dont know if its available in the states yet. Anyway it was developed in europe because chrome plating wheels is illegal in areas because their DOT determined that chrome plating wheels compromised the structural integrity.. so they invented a chrome paint Im sure its like the shit you see on some toys and it looks like real chrome.

|Powder coat plastic? Powder coating requires electrical conductivity so I doubt that.|
