This first time I did this type of thing, I have never painted before. Yet, my XBox is now Silver check it out.

ya strangly it looks very nice.. i thought an all silver was overused but i guess i mixed that up with those 5000 silver/black ones... looks nice all silver smile.gif

-wot sorta paint did u use?

any other mods u got planned for the silver beast?

The paint that I used was Testors Spray Enamel, 1246 Metallic SIlver. To be honest with you guys this was my first mod on anything & I'm kind of scared of doing the Jewel unsure.gif as soon as I built up some guts I will be changing the Jewel, & moding the Power/Eject.

mmhhh i prefer binford ultra strong silver with more power wink.gif

But your box looks very nice now. but i also would be too afraid of painting my box, because i would definetly damage my box wink.gif

Just clean your jewel for now. If your not to comfortable replacing it.

yeah, that green against that silver makes my stomach want to purge itself.

actually that green on silver makes it look kinda like that first
concept xbox they made... the bix x in silver that stood upright...

Maybe for the jewel, clear it, then paint the bottom in glossy black and use a silver/metallic paint pen on the XBOX logo.

ya looks awesome

but be careful

i recomend u remove the jewel B4 painting. then u can cove rup any nicks. but jsut use caution and take your time.

took me and brahm a few hours

msot of the was spent removing the blasted jewel.. evil things i tell ya

just a word of advice for when/if you do the jewel only hit it from the back side
and dont pry it off since youve got it painted already
trust me i learned the hard way dry.gif
