ok i came up with a pretty kewl idea.. ok well brahm2 was here also hehe

anyway
heres an idea

take some 3 legged led's..

ok so say they are red/green and when both are on they are orange right? (xbox leds)

now open the controller

ground out rhe center leg.. then run a positive to one rumble and the other positive to the other rumble biggrin.gif

now when u are playing. u can get either red or green depending on which rubmle is going off.. or a yellow if they are both going off smile.gif

just an idea i had biggrin.gif

thoughts?

ya i have yet to do it
brahm sotle my 3 legged leds lol. j/k

look best if done externally on black controller IE drilling holes

as having them inside a clear controller would dull the led color.

Another idea would be getting some full spectrum leds from lsdiodes...have it light up the color of whichever button is being pressed....that'd be pretty cool. I don't think it'd effect performance to have an led indicator when a button is pressed. Don't know what you'd do when several buttons were pressed, though.

You can have more than just green blue and red from one of those....I was thinking having yellow/red/green/blue for the button presses....I'm not talking about for rumble, I'm just off topic.

Well, that is a pretty good idea. I might just have to do that on my next Blue S mod. wink.gif

this sounds like a cool idea, but I thought that if the right rumble motor was going (the bigger one) then the left one was spinning also...so surely you would get either green, or orange??
