When dremeling out a whole under the xbox jewel (so I can light it up) how big should the hole be (I'm going to use an 80mm dual round cathode)?

Is it possible to light both your buttons and the jewel in the xbox controller S? If so, do I need to desolder the points I am going to solder the resistor/wire to before soldering, or does it matter?

Help is MUCH appreciated!

i just done the hole under the jewel today
you need to leave a very small lip for your jewel to rest on

as for the controller leds, i havent seen that you can light the jewel on the s controller
and for the soldering all you need to do is strip away the insulation on the wire and solder you wire that will connect to the resistors/leds
and yes it would be possible to light them both if you can light the jewel
take a look at his controllers
