Hot Glue Safe For Wires

OK i did the fan mod and then found out that it was to short the black wire so i got another wire the same and extended it. THen soldered the 2 together and covered it in hot glue. heres some pics on it user posted image

(this one its looking from the side. ON the right the fan left silver thing the silver case then the grey thing being the dvd.


So i have the hot glue touching the dvd tray thing. Is this bad?

Hot glue doesnt conduct electricity, so ur fine mate.

Yeah i use hot glue alot, i used it to hold my router in my new case i put it in.....What would i do without it!!!!
