sorry i saw the 7200 rpm post and so i decided to turn my xbox on and see how hot it got after 30 mins in idle the temputure is as reads:
mb/temp:105.8 F
cpu temp:131.0 F

is this an issue and if so what can i do about it do those air cooler snap ons work or not

Your CPU temp is a bit high. You might consider doing the 12v fan mod.

I'll also suggest the 12v fan mod - look through the X-S tutorials and you'll find out how to do it. smile.gif

For your issue- the temps aren't too bad, but like the other guys said, it wouldnt hurt to do the 12v fan mod.

130 degrees CPU temp after only 30min kinda high. What brand drive are you using? Do you have any other mods in your case?
