Hi,
I am trying my first BIOS flash!

I know how to do it and how to use XBtool.

I got some questions:
1. I have a Samsung 160GB drive with 5400 RPM. Do I have to increase the fan speed? I don't really want to because the box is loud enough already.

2. Where can I find a cool blue color scheme? I am not creative enough to make my own one look cool. sad.gif

No you really don't need to increase the fan speed. At all. Don't bother, it'll just make it louder.

As for the color setup, Here's a picture of the colors I used for my bios in Xbtool:

And here's the end result:

Happy flashing.

BFM means "Boot From Media".

You only use that option when using a program like Phoenix Bios Loader to load a BIOS file off the HD.

In other words, don't use that if you're going to flash the BIOS to your modchip.
