Just wondering if its a big difference (XBOX Alone) that I get an 8MB buffer rather than a 2MB buffer HD? Am I going to notice a difference?

Just wondering because I Can snag up a Maxtor 80Gig drive with 2MB buffer for a great deal.

Thanks a lot

If you're going to use it to play xbox games and backups, No, it doesn't matter. If you're going to use it as a server or something... then it might be beneficial to have the 8MB buffer.

note :the original xbox HD has only to 512k cache, so a 2MB wont matter if you you're doing is backing up your games
