Im new to the scene so dont flame
I put in a 250gb harddrive and all is fine the G-partion shows up in the ftp but nothing in the programs in xbox like mediaplayer or games???
what to do?

Well first of all how much did your hd cost? As far as media player and media center, I don't think they have g support yet. As far as apps, such as dvd2xbox, you have to download the latest copy and edit the xml file to reflect your g drive. The thing is some of the programs have g drive support you just have to edit the xml. I use flash fxp to transfer the xml and turn it into a txt file by simply renaming the file extension. Then I tinker around and experiment and edit the file. Sometimes it works. Another example is the fact that I am a loyal evox user but love the interface of mxm. I have games on the g drive but couldn't see them on mxm. So I tinkered with the xml file for mxm and got G to show up and also the games I saved using pxx hdd loader showed up in mxm, something currently impossible with evox. You should also check that evox settings and make sure g is installed. If you need step by step info on your apps just pm me.

Im from sweden so my disc cost 1800kr wink.gif thats about 245 us$ 145 gb ohmy.gif

I have never edited any file xml or other so I wouldnt know where to start.
But since they put in support for bigger hd why not in the programs?

because the programs are made by differant ppl that make the dashboards, and it sometime take longer for the app coders to figure out how to get their app to recognize the G: drive

u can check the homepages of the programs, or u can check xbox-scene for any news or release information on the main page, or just check out the usual places

get the newest version of dvd2xbox and edit the xml to include g:/
