Well, yesterday i was trying to install my new Xecuter 2.3 Lite + into my Xbox. I was just about to screw it in when my little brother jumps on my back and the modchip slips. Because of the sharp pogo pins used for the D0 point, it looks like i scratched up some traces. (I can see the copper from the traces) I was wondering if there was a way to fix this? I was thinking about getting one of those Silver conductive pens but would they work? Also, how would i fix the traces because they are sooooo close together?

Am i just doomed to getting a new Xbox? dry.gif

i had the smae thing happen apart from it was my cat rather than my brother mad.gif i scratched my board but i got it to work eventualy. what you have to do is line the chip up strait in the box, power on if it dont show the xecuter on the bottom of the big X screen turn off and move the chip slightly to the right. do this over and over again but moving very slightly to the right every time. if you get to a point whre the box turns on and then off rapidly then you have gon to far to the right. good luch lol beerchug.gif

I have a TIVO also and know that she runs linux very well.
