Hi,

my xbox HDD is slowly being filled by emulators and roms.

I know the xbox needs a certain amount of free space to play games/movies from disc ,, anyone know exactly how much? and on which partition?

There`s only 2GB left on this one - on drive E. I would like to know if there may be issues playing big games from disc, where large chunks of data are read from disc and stored onto the HDD.

Any help much appreciated,,

Roly

You don't need to save any space as the xbox already has a X,Y and Z drive that is used for temp space.

Drive E: is used to store saved games amongst other things, so you probably want to save some free space. But the F: drive you can fill right to the brim if you want.

Well I'm pretty sure.
But to be on the safe side just leave the E drive free and dump everything on the F drive. An orginal xbox doesn't have a F drive, so you can't go wrong.
