Question About Switching Dvd Drives

I am unlocky and have the Thompson dvd Drive. If I order a samsung drive, how much of a hassle is it to swith them? Or is it easy as plug and play?

Unplug the old one. Plug in the new one. Easy as 123 biggrin.gif

Depends on which Samsung. The stock xbox drive Samsung is plug and play. The PC Samsung needs modding and some plastic case cutting.

If You Have The Money To Get The Samsung Dvd Drive Stock From The Xbox Go With That One Or If You Don't Have The Money Try The Samsung 616t

Yea, you can just hot glue it back on
