Well I did my searches on the forum and did a lotta testing, from using Xdisc, osXboxISO, and osXiso, to create the EvoX iso, and burnt each with Toast 6 Titanium in Mac OS X Panther... I used a Memorex DVD-RW which has been working on my xbox for backup games that were burnt from a friend's PC before, but now I wanna do the burning and backing up myself on my powermac. The thing is that even with the Memorex DVD-rw that has worked on my xbox.. the evoX dvd-rw that was burnt won't get recognized! What can I do from here? Are there any special settings in Toast I need to set to burn? Please let me know, much appreciated. Thanks!

Try these suggestions:

1) Use craxtion to make your ISO. I've never used the tools you listed, but craxtion is the favorite of the gurus here. It's unlikely that all 3 of the tools use listed make bogus ISOs, but for the sake of troubleshooting it might be worth a try (xiso is known to make crap ISOs).

2) Make sure you include a large dummy file in the ISO. At least one of the tutorials here recommend zipping up Nero.exe (5MB) as the dummy, but that didn't work for me - apparently there wasn't enough data to allow my Thomson drive to read it. I saw a post recommending a 500MB dummy file and everything worked fine.
