Hi,

Is there a way to read the EEPROM with a cable? Not using EVOX, or any other software?

I have an "non-working" XBOX in my hand that previously had a x-ecuter modchip. The modchip is screwed for whatever reason, and I don't have the original HD. I need a way to relock a new HD, for that I need the XBOX EEPROM, which I don't have. I need to be able to read this EEPROM of this XBOX using an external way.

Thanks for your help...

you can desolder it to read it in a programmer, or you can TRY to read it in-circuit by soldering wires to it and the programmer.. but I'm not sure if it can be read in-circuit without any probs.
