i was wonderinghow blue are the CCFL's? like i noticed the red ones arent red at all and was wondering if the CCFL's are the same way? would I be better off putting in led's?

my blue CCFL is not as blue as my LED Fan.. its more like a sky blue not solid blue like the LED's. when i first put in my LED fan my Cathodes looked white for a while.

it's slightly bluer than it appears in the photo, but i just used a blue difuser to inprove the colour and light quality like this...

They're very blue, and very bright.

LED - Blue, not Bright

CC - Bright, not Blue

www.xoxide.com has some nice CC's and they are bout the same color as the picture posted

what i meant was CC are not AS blue as LED's

but leds are not AS bright as CC's

Buy some Blue Cellophane from your local Doller Store and wrap a few strips of it around the CC.

the light it gives off looks bluer than the actual tube... dunno if that makes sense.
