How To Install Xbmp?

There were no instructions with the XBMP package.. how do I install it to evox or my xbox?

ftp the directory you have extracted from the RAR file rename it to xbmp place this in the e:apps folder, if you don't have the apps folder create it - restart it should now be in your menu.

Does the folder have to be named 'xbmp'? I named it something else and I see it in my evox menu but when i load it, it loads for a few seconds then switches back to evox... anyone know what's up?

I put mine in my apps folder and it appeared, but it doesnt show my videos i put on my xbox!!! what directory do u put them in so taht they appear in the "my videos" tab in Xbmp. Also i go to videos and i click HDD and nothing happens... i read the pdf still cant figure it out... mad.gif

You have to edit the config.xml to where you want xbmp to look for your files. I believe default is F:\videos.
Also, you may want to try XBMC. It has a feature that lets you browse the HD for your media files.
