I bought some soldering equipment for my mod project. Including this can of tip tinner http://www.jameco.co...arch=tip tinner. You're suppose to use it to tin your soldering iron to improve it's life and performance. I've noticed that if you use it to tin the wire, it makes it quite easy to solder small joints(ie. d0). i was wondering if this would be conductive enough and work for my chip on the d0 point. if not then i have some .015 solder i can use but it is a bit more difficult to tin with it. but if it will work then yay for me i'm ready to solder. biggrin.gif
