smile.gif Hello everyone. I have a Box that i recently modded and my friend has one that he modded about 6 months ago. He has a chameleon chip and an older version of Evolx. I have an Executor2.3b Pro and the 3935v of Evolx. He has burned games successfuly and so have I. Here is the problem......

When i place his burned games in my X-box they do not work but the games I burn work fine. We both use Memorex as media but the only difference is, he uses DVDR+ and I use DVD-R. Strange indeed......any suggestions?

BTW I have a Samsung drive....not sure what his is. huh.gif

DVD+R do not work well with the Samsung. You need to obtain hacked firmware to burn DVD+Rs to work with the Samsung. I have not tried this myself, but others have, and said it works.

Do a search.

My first Evox boot disc was on DVD+RW, and I never had any problems using that with my Samsung. You could give that a try.

DVD+R and DVD+RW are not the same.

My Thomson boots DVD+RW like they are almost originals, while DVD+R boots, but just not as good as DVD+RW. Same brand too.
