New Versions Of Halo Wont Play Xbconnect

i heard on a post somewhere that the newer version of halo games sold (like the one in the massive pack in Aus.) were specially designed so that they cant be used in conjunction with xbconnect.....


and yeah i can say thats true with my copy of the game...

so yeah neone have ne ideas how to runaround dis prob?

XBC will have to fix the problem, I guess.

As long as they talk to one XBox to another Xbox across a local network, XBC should be able to emulate the whole thing.

theyre just not 'friendly' to ppl ripping them off i guess tongue.gif funnily enough theyre trying to make a profit

Yeah, I guess XBConnect competes against their XBL service... but still, lol.

wtf is ms's problem? YOu can play halo online any other way so why are they stopping xb connect connectivity?

xbconnect doesnt even work with the real, uncopied version of the new halo. so it doesnt make any sence that they are trying to stop people from "ripping them off."

if anything, tunnel programs like xbconnect and gamespy are helping the sale of these system link games such as halo.

its not like halo can be played Live! or anything. that would be a good reason to stop it from being played on xbconnect.

M$ in this case is pretty much just being an asshole.
