A friend lend me his softmodded Xbox. Since it took me over 4 hours to get it to my place, the clock began looping when I plugged it in. It didn't came out of it after 30 minutes so I turned the Xbox off. When I turned it back on the light around the eject button went green for a second, then began flashing red. The Xbox made the usual sounds (looking dor a disc etc.) but there was no picture or sound (not even the morphing animation or Xbox logo). Also there is no message about the Xbox needing servicing. My friend said it never happened to him.
I've searched these boards, but the only explanation I found was that something is wrong with the eeprom. I thought this is only possible if you use a mod chip.
Can somebody please give me any info on this? Did I destroy the console?
Please help.Thx.
