use a 29wire homebrew flashed with X2 4973 bios!

It should boot up fine then use config magic eeprommagic to restore your eeprom.

The eeproms changed after v1.0, so you can just swap them if either:
1) both xboxs are v1.0 or
2) both xboxs are v1.1-1.5

You can also reprogram the dead eeprom chip without removing it using a custom linux bios: http://arisme.free.fr/Xbox/Reflash/

this requires you to have the eeprom in a bin file.

Note that if you swap the eeprom between xbox's, you will also have to swap the harddrive (harddrive is locked to each eeprom)
