some games wont go on my xbox, i think because the names are too long. however if i rename them to shorter names, will they still work or be unrecognised?

if the file name is too long you won't be able to ftp it up to your xbox, the transfer will fail.

check the emulation forum for a list of roms that are verified to work (and those that don't) in surreal

nah its not that, cuz its only the ones with long names, like track and field 2000 extra blah blah, Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of time, real long names like that. Had the same prob with snes but u can change em. I just think ur not allowed to rename with N64

you can't send them with long file names, the xbox only understands a certain amount of letters in file names. there is no fix for this, shorten your filenames. that is the only solution
