I've read about Slayers 2.5 but I have a couple questions.

First, I understand that this auto-installs Evox, so does this mean that you don't need to download the Evox.ini as well? It's already in the Slayers file?

Second, does this mean that you don't need to network or ftp your computer to your Xbox? (if using an Xbit that is)

The tut's have me a little confused. Thanks for your help

You are right at both spots.
Slayers come with all the EvoX files + some other stuff.

You do not HAVE to FTP with any modchip.

But You Should Try To Install EvoX By Your Self To Understand How It Works.

If it's between going to frys to buy a crossover cable and downloading a self-extracting file, then I consider the former the more difficult method. wink.gif

Ok, I've found Slayers. The only problem is that my download speed is so slow that it keeps cutting me off. Looks like that option is out until I can find a broadband provider.

So I understand from the guides how to ftp the xbox and pc, but is there a way to install Evox without having to ftp other than slayers? I guess it wouldn't kill me to go ahead and get a crossover to do that, but I was just wondering if there's another way

I've read that Boxplorer loaded on the boot disc will get the job done without having to ftp. Anyone confirm this?
