Question..

this may sound dumb but please hear me out..

say you are installing a new hard drive OR replacing all of the files on the c:

can you put all c: files on cdrom and copy onto new empty c: from it ??
would the files be read only??
or do you HAVE to ftp them ?

reason I ask is because when you sometimes drag or copy files from cd to your PC ..they are read only (sometimes) didn't know if that happens on the xbox ...because if it did it would screw things up correct?

another question..
I have not seen any problems yet.. but I have basically replaced the c: files from totally different machines and it seems to be ok.. instead of backing up the hard drive.. and using the same files from it. this isn't a problem right? I haven't seen one yet.

THANK YOU
