rotfl.gif rotfl.gif that would be ur last resort.

all i can say is tell ur parents what a modded xbox can do and they will be ammazed. tell them how the xbox will benefit them in a way. thats what i do when i need some quick cash. and it works everytime, well, atleast for me biggrin.gif ....

It's not that I'm lazy, just that my parents won't even take me to get games because they think they are a waste of money. I mean I still have dial up! I couldn't use my own money anyway because i don't have anymore money, i just spent it on a new alienware pc so I couldent even buy games if I wanted to. The only way for me to obtain games is my parents money. It's not like I'm looking for handouts just a little support, They buy my grr.gif brother grr.gif anything he wants.

sorry for ranting on and on about my problems, I'm just looking for a convincing argument so they can't say no.

I cant think of an argument I can think of, that some generic parents would cut into for video games. What I would recommend like some other guy who already did, get a job at Blockbuster - 10 free rentals a week.

Preach on Extrem!

I feel your pain though, Darth. I'm not saying that my parents wouldn't get me anything, but I was the kid on the block that got a new game about every other Christmas as opposed to 2-3/month like some others. That was when I realized that I needed a job.

No one's trying to bash you here, but seriously, you could get a pretty decent modded xbox going for $250 or so and could really get in running on the low end for no more than $50. Go mow a grandparent's yard or something and you could make that in a couple hours. It would be heavily worth it IMO.

My sister got all the "good" stuff growing up while I got a lot of leftovers at times, but I'm in a much better financial position now than I might have been had it not been that way. Figure out a way to get what you want without having to use your parents (besides stealing that is). If you want to know a way to get back at them, there's nothing that burned my parents up more than when I started making so much money mowing yards that I could buy about any electronic I wanted. I think it's the fact that they don't want you wasting your time on games, but there's really nothing they can do when you're spending your own money. Know what I mean?

Ohh poor boy!! You just bought a new PC. Did you consider buying a cheaper PC and having some money left over for games?

Indeed, my PC is over 6 years old but i really dont complain, nor do i expect or want a new one. I bought all my chipping stuff myself, and got a hard drive for my birthday jester.gif - its all up from here !!!

if you can get a small "loan" from your parents, you can make money installing chips for other people. thats what i did, and so far it works great. installing the chips is pretty easy so its awesome.
