The xecuter 2.3b lite plus is simple to install, and i really suggest you dont get a solder mod chip, as you couldnt spell solder earlier lol.

The xbox was the first system I had ever modded, and I had never soldered before. I bought the x2.2 pro with the solderless adapter. I thought it would be as easy as pie, right? That damn thing would not line up on the points right. It wouldn't sit flat! I kept messing with it until I stripped out the ground screw.

Any ways, to make a long story longer, I read a lot of tuts (I like this one http://www.xbox-scen.../soldering2.php ), bought the stuff, and soldered that sonofbitch in there (top d0 btw wink.gif ) I had to extend the ground wire of course since I stripped the close one. And I did practice for a while on an old NIC.

I would suggest doing the same. I just don't think the pogo pins are what they are cracked up to be. And trust me, you will feel great if you do it, and will have a better end product.

I forgot to mention, if you do try it, that tut forgets to mention preparing the d0, its a must, you just need to scrape the point until the copper is exposed. There is a tut on that somewhere too.

Edit: I just checked out Damessiah's site. Your charging to install the lite +, a solderless mod, lol..... And why do your HD install prices very by the size of the HD. Is it harder to install a 250g over a 120g? lol...
