i am planning on buying an xecuter chip and wanted to know if i should wait for the new generation and also how long until it comes out

you should get a chip now, but do a header install, so it will be a snap to upgrade.

o yea i saw that in the diagram on xecuter site. whats the difference between doing pin header install and soldering wires. is one easier than other and are their disadvantages to a header install

Pin header install is easier, and upgrading to a different chip is extremely easy. pop.gif

Do you want to solder?

Truth is, anyone that asks this question doesnt need a Pro. Get a Plus if you don't want to solder and a Lite if you want to.

Pros are designed for people with a reason to have many BIOS' installed and quick way to flash. Most likely not needed unless you are a developer.

Thats true, but you see a lot of people have to buy the programmer any ways after a bad flash. Its not that much more just to get the pro. That way you have the external programmer if you need it.
