ok, First off I have installed my chip and set everything up without harassing anyone with a barrage of newbie questions. I have read many, many faqs and old posts. This is my first unanswerable question, though.
Here are my specs:

Xbit chip
Retail HD
V1.5 Xbox
Slayer's evox V3921
M7 bios.

I FXP'd Gunvalkryie(sp?) to my xbox successfully, with the filename of gun.iso. The game was put on the E: drive, in the folder Games. Yet when I select the "Play Games from HD" option the slayer's evox menu, there is nothing there. I am positive the file is on there. Here is my ini, if it helps:

Section "Root"
Item "Play Game or Media from DVDROM Drive",ID_Launch_DVD
Section "Play Games from HD"
Line "- Games on the Hard Drive -",2
AutoAddItem "E:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "E:\HDDLoader\"
Item "Game Trainers",ID_trainer
Item "DVD MOVIE Player - Region Free","e:\Apps\DVDX\default.xbe"
Section "Self Installed Emulators"
Line "- Emulators on Hard Drive -",2
AutoAddItem "e:\Apps\Emulators\"
Item "Xbox Media Player - XBMP","e:\Apps\XBMP\default.xbe"
Item "XboX Gentoo LINUX - Self Add-On","e:\gentooxx.xbe"
Section "System Management"
Item "Game Management on Xbox HD","e:\Apps\HDDLoader\default.xbe"
Item "Game and Media Backup Tool","e:\Apps\DvD2XboX\default.xbe"
Item "Choose a Different Skin",ID_Skins
Section "Launch Apps from HD"
Line "- Media and File Managers -",2
Item "Dvd2Xbox Media Copier","e:\Apps\Dvd2Xbox\default.xbe"
Item "PxHDD Loader","e:\Apps\HDDLoader\default.xbe"
Item "Xbox File Explorer","e:\Apps\boXplorer\default.xbe"
Line "- Auto Added Items -",2
AutoAddItem "e:\Apps\"
Item "MS Dashboard - Use to change Time/Date and TV Settings",ID_MS_Dash
Item "System Settings",ID_Settings
Item "Reboot Xbox",ID_Quick_Reboot
Item "Power OFF Xbox",ID_Power_Off

Any help would be great appreciated.

You can't FTP an ISO to the Xbox HDD. Use dvd2xbox if you want to backup the game to the HDD, it's a lot simpler than creating an ISO. You need to have all the files from the game in their own folder within the games directory for Evox to pick it up.

Oh, ok. That seems simple enough. So I should un-iso the file with an iso-buster? What does DVDTOXBOX do? I didn't quite understand that.

check out simplex iso to extract or make xiso files, or better yet check out quix, which extracts and ftps to your xbox on the fly. check a whole list of xiso tools here: http://www.xbox-scen...p?page=isotools
and dvd2xbox is an xbox app which allows you to rip/backup anything you pop into your dvd drive, well whatever your drive can read. another app worth checking out is xtoolbox while you're at it. but both rip stuff to your hdd perfectly, well i find...
