I'm sure others have had this problem, but I've never read of anyone else talking about it. I'm trying to solder my wires to the eject point on the circuit board of the Samsung 616t. The problem is that no solder will stick to the point. I can't even get solder to stick without the wire, so I have no idea how to get the wire to stick. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you deal with it? Is there another non-solder solution?

Thanks.

Have you accidentally lifted up the trace? If you have you will not be able to solder to it.. There is another alternative spot to solder to.. Its not on the main board but the little one.. I dont have a way to post a picture on here but if you give me your email address I will attach a picture that lugnut and I have taken pointing out the exact alternate points..

You can just give them this link xboxmodder

disconnect, those 3 spots are on the front board so you wire has to be longer, just piggy back the wires across the white ribbon cable and make sure you tape it up nicely.

They are a piece of cake to solder to, you wont have any problem.
