What's up everyone?

Does anyone know if this switch will work on system link without having a PC linked up to it? I currently have this hooked up to my DSL router, and it works fine for all my PCs with no configuration whatsoever.

I want to use the switch for an XBOX LAN party on the other side of the house. I don't know the difference between a hub, a router, a switch, etc. If this will work for system link mode, should it work automatically? If not, what do I have to do to get all the XBOXES to see each other. Thanks in advance for your help!

It should work fine for a system link game. I've never had a problem with any hub or router I have.

Plug 'em in and see if it works. smile.gif

If I can't get that to work, is there a good chat room anywhere where I could get help in real-time? Thanks a million! (IRC Preferred...)

it will work. I have the same one behind my entertainment center. IT has an uplink going to a 4 port switch/router which also connects to a swtch upstairs to my roommate's room.
