I know we can use the DVD-Browser to browse to the rom folder, but its kinda a pain, since my dvd's have the snes roms a few folders in.

Can't it default to that directory each time?
Or is the DVD mounted to some other drive letter like MAMEoX or Xport's stuff? (R:/, or A:/)

have u tried editing the config.ini in the xsnes9x folderto point to the directory your roms are in?
example
ROMPATH=d:\roms\ or depending on where your rom dir is on your dvd.

Yea, I edited the rompath in the config.ini

But, when the xbox loads an app/game, it mounts that currect directory as D:\

So when E:\Emulators\Snes\default.xbe is run, the xbox is thinking that its D:\default.xbe, even though there may not be a disc in the drive, or if it is, it can no longer be accessed as D:\

There are ways around this, Xport mounts the DVD drive as R:, on his emulaotrs, so we can point the rompath to R:\nes\nesroms or whatever, if its on the Disc.

But xSnes9x doesn't mount it to R:, or any other drive as far as I know.

Put xSnes9x on the DVD. What does an extra 5 or so megs matter? That would solve your problem.
