You can with a recent bios... whatever post or guide you were reading was out of date.

on all the recent forums ive read they all say you cant put in a new hdd bigger than 137????

they broke that barrier a long time ago, dunno what recent forums you're talking about.....

you can hold up to 2 terrabytes now with the new bios's.... just get x2_4981 and you'll be good to go

use 4981.06.bin for hard drives up to 250 gigs and 4981.68.bin for drives over 250 gigs so you can have a G drive

i would say those forums are not very recent. this is probably the best xbox forum out there so if you want some good and UP-TO-DATE info cruise around XB-Scene forum.

yeah just put in a 250 GB drive into a system. works fine to go past the 137 GB if you use the latest bios releases.
